In short: this Bravo mini-split system is exactly what I hoped

Rhonda Frias · November 2025

From the start, the biggest win for me was how customizable the setup is. I was able to pick the outdoor unit and then design how many indoor heads I wanted, plus which types (wall-mounts, cassettes, or slim ducted) based on each room’s layout. The fact that I could mix and match different BTUs to match each zone meant I didn’t overpay or overcool any room — it really feels like a tailor-made solution. Once everything was installed, the system worked smoothly. The Wi-Fi control is a huge plus — I can adjust the temperature for each zone from my phone, which means I don’t need to run one big system just to cool or heat a small space. The inverter technology is quiet, and even when one zone is running full blast, the rest feel balanced and undisturbed.

Guest Room & Home Office

Kevin Sheppard · September 2025

I decided to tackle two distinct spaces: a cosy downstairs guest room and my home office. Both needed independent climate control—especially since I often work remotely and wanted the flexibility to cool or heat one room without impacting the other. Guest Room: It maintained an even, quiet temperature. The wall-mounted design didn’t intrude—great for guests who like subtlety and comfort. Home Office: The performance here was a standout. The unit responds quickly when I turn heating or cooling on, with minimal disruption for web conferencing. Love the smart app control—adjusting temp from my phone is a breeze

Perfect for retrofitting without destroying 90s drywall/interiors.

Upgrading a home built in the 1990s presents a specific set of challenges—mainly dealing with central air systems that are nearing the end of their lifespan and floor plans that often include rooms that stay stubbornly warmer or cooler than the rest of the house. In a 90s-era layout, you often have these large, open living spaces paired with smaller, isolated bedrooms. The Bravo system allowed me to finally address that imbalance. I installed a larger head in the vaulted living room and dedicated units in the bedrooms. Now, I don't have to chill the entire house just to get the master bedroom comfortable at night. One of the biggest upgrades was the noise level—or lack thereof. My old 1990s outdoor compressor sounded like a jet engine taking off every time it kicked on. The Bravo condenser is so quiet I’ve actually walked outside just to make sure it was still running. Inside, the units are sleek and low-profile; they don't have that "industrial" look that some older mini splits have, so they fit right in with my updated interior trim.
