Simplified Installation 5 product stars
"I came to the Cooper & Hunter 12,000 BTU Floor Console Mini Split with a very specific, irritating problem: my recently converted A-frame attic space. The ceilings slope dramatically, leaving only narrow vertical walls nowhere near enough room to mount a traditional, bulky wall-mounted mini-split head without it looking awkward or blocking window views. The sheer convenience of the floor installation cannot be overstated. We simply placed the unit flush against the lowest section of the exterior wall. It sits discreetly, much like a modern convection heater or an old-school radiator, completely vanishing into the background. I didn't have to worry about finding studs in a vaulted ceiling, routing lines way up high, or having a white box dominating my sightlines. This form factor is incredibly subtle and provides a much cleaner aesthetic than a traditional high-wall mount ever could. The line-set entry was lower and much less invasive to the interior wall structure, which saved my installer a lot of headache and kept the final appearance neat and tidy." Robert B.
