(write review)This unit solved an impossible design dilemma
"A 900 sq. ft., open-concept art gallery/event space with 14-foot exposed beam ceilings. The challenge was maintaining a perfectly stable, silent climate even when the space was packed without sacrificing the vertical sightlines or cluttering the pristine white walls. Standard high-wall mini-splits were a visual affront; ceiling cassettes were structurally impractical. I chose the low-wall/floor mount configuration. Most people use the ceiling option to hide these; I used the floor option to make it disappear. Mounted six inches above the reclaimed wood baseboard, the unit s slim, linear profile reads more like a contemporary baseboard radiator than a powerful HVAC system. By painting the front panel to match the wall color (after confirming with the installer this wouldn't impede sensor function), it became nearly invisible. The unit's close proximity to the floor means the air is drawn in and circulated with a unique efficiency, pushing warm air up from below in the winter the most thermodynamically sound way to heat a room. This unit solved an impossible design dilemma: how to heat and cool a large, high-end space without the hardware showing. It is a luxury-level solution packaged in a universal body. For architects, designers, or anyone with a challenging room where aesthetics matter as much as performance, this floor/ceiling model is the stealth weapon you ve been looking for."
