Yes. The ENTRA is rated for heating operation down to 5°F, but output drops significantly at that floor. The humidity in New Orleans has been absolutely relentless lately. My old stand fan was just pushing the muggy air around, doing next to nothing. So, after doing some research, I finally pulled the trigger on this Daikin 24,000 BTU, 18 SEER mini-split heat pump from Mini Split Warehouse. The website was pretty easy to use, and surprisingly, it shipped without any major headaches. That was a definite plus right off the bat. Then came the installation. The unit itself looks fairly low-profile, doesn't stick out too much, which is nice. So far, I'm genuinely impressed. Definitely feeling like I made the right choice to finally tackle this humidity!
The Upgrade I Didnβt Know I Needed
I wasnβt expecting much beyond good cooling, but this Daikin impressed me right away. It cools the room fast, runs smoothly, and feels very well made. No complicated experienceβjust a solid unit that does exactly what I needed.
