"I purchased the Midea 6000 BTU Hyper Heat Mini Split to condition a newly built, high-end wine cellar in my basement. My requirement was stringent: maintaining a steady, non-fluctuating temperature of 55 F (12.8 C), 24/7, year-round, with minimal noise and vibration to protect the bottles. This unit has exceeded every expectation. For a wine cellar, temperature consistency is non-negotiable, and this is where the inverter technology truly proves its worth. Unlike an on/off system that blasts cold air, this Midea unit constantly modulates its speed. I set it to 55 F, and it holds that temperature with incredible precision. I've monitored it with a dedicated cellar thermometer, and there is virtually no swing it's a perfectly stable climate, which is the best thing you can ask for in wine storage." C. Tiny But Mighty
"I bought this unit mainly for a small converted workspace behind my house about 150 square feet. I didn t need anything over the top, just something reliable that could handle both the heat of summer and the occasional chilly night. What I didn t expect was how solid and low-maintenance this little unit turned out to be. From the first week, it felt like a huge upgrade. Cooling is quick but not aggressive it doesn t blast cold air in your face; instead, the room just gradually becomes crisp and comfortable. What really impressed me, though, was the heating. I was skeptical that something this small could really keep up, but even when the temperature dropped into the low 40s (which is cold enough here), the heat was consistent and surprisingly cozy." "Ordering from Mini Split Warehouse was pretty straightforward. It was just the one unit, so the process was quick, and they had it shipped out pretty fast. Since it was a smaller unit, it didn't take him long at all to get it mounted and connected. Installation was a breeze for my local technician. He mentioned the wiring was simple enough, and the unit itself wasn't too heavy to handle. Works Great! - 6k BTU system
"This unit as of today (10/01/24) has close to 400 hours and is working flawlessly. Have only used the unit for heating so far, but seems to keep up. Have about 300 sq feet to heat and cool so unit is a little undersized, but was not able to install anything bigger due to limitations on placement of blower unit. Only need to kick on my gas heat on in the morning to warm the house up. The app is nice, but does not have 100% of the features that the remote has.
